Provenance - located in an historic 1856 bank, Provenance is a highly awarded restaurant that produces creative contemporary food with a wine list to match. The wine produced at the Granjoux vineyard (in front of the villas) is on the wine list. It also has a Lounge bar and on some evenings, an upstairs cocktail bar.

Ford Street Enoteca (formerly The Ox and Hound) - an intimate bistro focusing on classic European dishes
Tanswell’s Pub - one of the oldest and most authentic pubs in Beechworth serving pub classics and some more contemporary dishes. Live music in the main bar is a drawcard on weekends
Project 49 - an Italian wine bar/deli serving excellent coffee, light meals and stocking Italian produce as well as some local wines
Cellar Door Wine Store - a wine store and café with an impressive selection of wines including many local wines. The owners also make excellent cocktails

Farm gates & farmers markets
The cool climate and fertile soils of nearby Stanley produce outstanding quality fruits, berries and nuts. "Pick-your-own" at selected farms, or meet the growers at local farmers markets. The Beechworth Farmer’s Market occurs on the first Saturday of every month (except in Winter).
Breweries & Cellar Doors
Try specialty beers brewed on-site at the much-awarded Bridge Road Brewery in the centre of town and visit Bilsons, one of Australia’s oldest breweries with a large selection of Beers, soda’s and cordials
Beechworth is a highly regarded wine region with many award wining wineries. A few have cellar doors, others are by appointment only ( a phone call usually does the trick).
History & Antiques
Preserved from the 1850's gold rush era, Beechworth has some 30 buildings classified by the National Trust. They tell stories of infamous bushrangers, Chinese miners & pioneers who all contributed to the rich character of the area.
